We regret to announce the death of Francis Martin Lord, better known as Babalou or Boom-Boom of Gros Islet. He passed away on Wednesday 22nd July 22, 2026. He was 64 years old.

And the Lord family of Gros Islet and Riviere Mitan
The funeral service of Francis Martin Lord better known as Babalou or Boom-Boom, of Gros Islet will take place at the Church Of The Nazarene in Gros Islet on Friday the 7th day of August 2026.Thereafter, the body will be interred at the Gros-Islet, Cemetery.
The family of the late Francis Lord wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to his care-taker Hallford Williams of Gros Islet for his good kindness.
The body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.
May the soul of the late Francis Lord rest in perfect peace.
