It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Leo Kentis Ferdinand, affectionately known as D’Andre or Humpty of Back Street, Micoud, who passed away at St. Jude Hospital on Tuesday, 4th March, 2026. He was forty-seven (47) years old.

He was a loving husband, a cherished family member, and a presence whose strength and spirit touched all who knew him.

He leaves to mourn his devoted wife, Malisha Ferdinand, along with other relatives and friends

The funeral service for the late Leo Kentis Ferdinand, affectionately known as D’Andre or Humpty, will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds, Vieux-Fort, commencing at 1:00 p.m.

His body currently lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux-Fort, and interment will follow at the La Tourney Cemetery, Vieux-Fort.

Friends and relatives who wish to attend the funeral are kindly requested to wear white and a touch of tan; and kindly bring along a whistle.

Kentis “Humpty” was far more than a name to us – he was a devoted husband, a cherished friend, a trusted mentor, and a steadfast confidant. His kindness, coupled with his unmistakable guidance, brought comfort, clarity, and joy to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Though our hearts are burdened with grief, we will

forever treasure the moments we shared, the love he gave so generously, and the memories that will continue to live on within us. He will always be remembered, deeply loved, and profoundly missed.

May we find comfort as we say our final goodbyes.
