It is with profound sadness we announce the death of our beloved Anthanasias Suffren also known as Hughes formerly of Anse La Raye, who resided in the United States for most of his life but at the time of his passing resided at Black Bay, Vieux Fort. He passed away at the St. Jude Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the age of 91 years.
The funeral arrangements of our beloved Anthanasias Suffren also known as Hughes will be announced in a subsequent broadcast.
His body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
May his soul rest in perpetual peace.
