God’s Garden

God looked around his garden and found an empty place

He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.

He knew that you were suffering; He knew you were in pain.

He knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb,

So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine”

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Geanette Antoine affectionately known as Say-Ginette, Ma J or Miss G. of Cedar Heights, Vieux Fort. She passed away on the 21st of January, 2026 at the age of 60 years.

She is predeceased by her mother Magdaline Antoine also known as Are-T-Ya

The funeral service of our beloved Geanette Antoine will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Vieux Fort on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Her body will be laid to rest at the La Tourney Cemetery.

Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.

May her soul rest in perpetual peace.
