It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Rene better known as Slow or Jillbere of Belair , La Croix Maingot. He departed this life Wednesday January 28, 2026 at his residence. He was 81 years old.

Julianna Rene also known as Julie, who was also his caregiver and family of Belair, La Croix Maingot

4 Sons:

Clive Lucien and family in Florida

Samuel Palcide and family of Barre Denis

Natan Placide of Barre Denis

3 Daughters:

Albertha Joseph-Leonce, employed with Sandals La Toc

Milicia Desir, field supervisor at SSDF, Homecare programme

The funeral arrangements of the late Cyril Rene better known as Slow or Jillbere will be held on Friday March 13, 2026 at the Holy Family Parish, Jacmel at 1:00p.m.Thereafter,his body will be interred at the Jacmel, Cemetery.

Transportation will be available at 12:30p.m. in Belair, Jacmel and back

The family would like to mourn in private after the funeral service.

His body now lies at Rambally's Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.
