It is with profound sadness we announce the death of our beloved Mary Fontenelle affectionately known as Fam and Maurine of Desruisseaux, who passed away at the St. Jude Hospital on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the age of 70 years.

She was predeceased by her son Bruno Fontenelle

The funeral service of our beloved Mary Fontenelle affectionately known as Fam or Maurine will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Desruisseaux on Friday, January 30th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Her body will be interred at the Desruisseaux Cemetery.

Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.

May she rest in perpetual peace.
