It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carmen Chamaroo Alexander of Cap Estate, Saint Lucia. She was born on January 15, 1943 and passed away on Thursday December 25, 2025 at the OKEU Hospital at 12:55 a.m . She was 82 years old.
Carmen was a Council Member of the Saint Lucia Caribbean Pharmaceutical Association (CPA) and Representative of the Caribbean Association of Pharmacies (CAP) and the Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association of Great Britain, and Proprietor of St. Lucia Health and Utility Services (HUS) Pharmacy, Bois D’Orange.
She was predeceased by her parents:
Gregor and Cecil Chamaroo, better known as Doux and Ma Doux of Rich Fond, Dennery,
Her siblings:

Leonise La Force, better known as Elid
Victor Joseph of Rich Fond
Maria Phillips of Canada
She has left to mourn;

The funeral service of Carmen Chamaroo Alexander will be held on Thursday January 15, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bexon at 11:00a.m.
Following the funeral service, the body will be transferred to La Tourney, Vieux Fort, for the final rites of disposition.”
Her body now lies at Rambally's Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.
The family of Carmen Alexander wish to mourn in private.
