It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad, brother and friend, Mr. Russel Joseph Victor Lord, also known as War-war, Chippy or Harper of Massade, Gros Islet. Russel was a retired restaurateur and taxi driver in the hotel industry for many years, and an avid athlete and choir member. He passed away at the OKEU hospital on Tuesday, 18th November, 2025.

Mrs Elizabeth Lord, née Marytr, better known as Laura, of Massade, retired teacher of the Marchand Combined School.

 

His Children:

The home going celebration for the life of our beloved Mr. Russel Joseph Victor Lord also known as War-war, Chippy or Harper will take place at the St. Joseph the Worker R.C Church in Gros- Islet on Wednesday 17th December, 2025 at 2:30 PM. His body will then be cremated at the Rambally Crematorium, Vieux Fort, and interred at the Gros Islet- Cemetery.

 

Members of the Hewanorra Voices, Freedom Voices, Disciple Voices Male Chorale, and the Gros- Islet Church Choir are kindly invited to join the choir at the home going service in honour of our dear loved one.

 

Relatives, friends and well-wishers are invited to join the family in adorning a touch of white or green, if possible.

 

The body of our beloved, Russel Lord now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.

 

May his precious soul rest in eternal peace.
