It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the death of Nighear Marcel, better known as Rabi or Tibwai who passed away suddenly on Friday October 10, 2025 at 9:40 a.m. at the Dennery Hospital. He was 48 years old.

He was a beloved son, a partner, a father, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, a neighbour, a cherished Community member of the Aux-Lyons Mothers and Fathers Group, and a skilled Barber of Aux-Lyons.

The funeral service of the late Nighear Marcel, better known as Rabi or Tibwai, will take place on Friday 28th November, 2025 at the St. Michael’s Parish Church, La Ressource Dennery.

Please not the following:

Viewing of the body is from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m.

Tributes and Eulogy is from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Funeral service starts at 3:00 p.m.

Persons attending the funeral service are kindly asked to wear a touch of red or an Arsenal Sports Shirt or any other football shirt in honour of his love for Arsenal.

No photos of the deceased will be permitted.

The body will be interred at the La Ressource Dennery Cemetery after the funeral service.

His body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.

May his Soul continue to rest in Eternal peace
