It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of our beloved Theresa William also known as Efelita or Ma Tata of Grace, Vieux-Fort who passed away at her residence in Grace, Vieux-Fort on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. She was 89 years old.

She was predeceased by common law husband:

The funeral service of our beloved Theresa William also known as Efelita or Ma Tata of Grace, Vieux-Fort will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Vieux Fort on Monday, August 18th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. Her body will be laid to rest at the La Tourney Cemetery.

Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux-Fort.
