It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Lawrin Charlery better known as Papuss or Lafete of La Pointe, Mon Repos but resided at Jn. Baptiste Hill Micoud, who passed away at St. Jude Hospital on Sunday April 19th, 2026 at the age of 71.

The funeral service for our beloved Lawrin Charlery better known as Papuss or Lafete will be held on Saturday May 30th, 2026 at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Mon Repos at 2pm. Thereafter, his body will be laid to rest at the Mon Repos Cemetery.
Lawrin’s body now lies in the caring hands of Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
May he rest in perfect peace.
