Cremation

Today, many people are choosing cremation as an alternative to traditional burial. Rambally’s crematorium suited at our Vieux Fort branch in La Tourney, Vieux Fort offers you that option.  Yes, your loved ones can still have a traditional funeral service followed by the cremation; alternatively some families chose to have a private cremation followed by a funeral service.  Cremation entails placing the deceased in a cremation chamber, and through the application of intense heat, is reduced to its original elements, commonly known as cremated remains. After the cremation, the remains are carefully removed from the cremation chamber and processed into fine particles. Cremated remains are placed in a temporary urn or an urn of the family’s choice and presented to the family along with a cremation certificate, ready for final disposition and memorialization.
