It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Philomena Monrose, affectionately known as Ma Rooney, Loretta or Arsis. Originally from Darban, Saltibus, she was a former resident of Kennedy Highway, Laborie, and at the time of her death, resided in Pierrot, Vieux-Fort. She passed away on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at the age of 71.

She was predeceased by her parents;

The funeral service for the late Philomena Monrose, affectionately known as

Ma Rooney, Loretta, or Arsis, will take place on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Saltibus at 3:30 p.m. Her body will be laid to rest at the Saltibus Cemetery.

Special Note: The family would like to inform persons who are attending the funeral service that there will be two buses stationed by the Laborie market from 1:30 p.m. and will leave for Saltibus at 2:00 p.m. to transport persons to and from the funeral service.

Her body currently lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour in La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
