With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Obercia Octave, affectionately known as Mum, formerly from Canaries, who resided at Caye Mange. Mrs. Octave passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024 at the age of 99.

She was predeceased by;

Mrs. Mary Octave is deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by;

Her legacy of love extends to her 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren

She will also be fondly remembered by:

Her beloved relatives in the United States, England,

Winston and Shirley Lansiquot and family in London and Martinique

The Mauricette,

Lansiquot, and smith families

Also mourning her loss are the communities of Canaries, Anse La Raye, and Anse La Verde

Additionally, she holds a special place in the hearts of her Gros-Islet SDA and Castries SDA Church communities

Mrs. Mary Octave’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. Although she has left us, her memory will continue to inspire and guide us.

Funeral service for the late Mary Octave will take place at the Seventh-day Adventist Church at Gros Islet on Sunday October 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and her body will be laid to rest at the Choc Cemetery.

Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.
