OBITUARIES & CONDOLENCE

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Reuben Julian also known as Allan Charles originally from Marchand and Balata but resided at Barre Denis until the time of his passing. He passed away peacefully at his residence on June 29, 2024 at the age of 88 years (three weeks short of his 89th, birthday).

Left to mourn;

His Wife:

Anna Marie Reuben also known as Bertid residing at Barre Denis her children and their family.

Three Daughters:

Columba Joseph also known as Rosemary, Retired Teacher residing at Bishop’s Gap, Marchand and her family in St Lucia and France

Jacinta Jn Charles also known as Sandra, employed with Jannou Credit Union, residing at Odsan and her Family in St Lucia and England.

Marie Charles Dolien and family of Sarrot, but residing in St Lucia, Guadeloupe and Martinique

One Brother:

Raymond Charles also known as Ray Charles and Wells originally from Balata but resides in Florida

Five surviving Sisters:

Mrs. Genevieve Veronica Mayers and family residing in Barbados

Mrs. Rose Clement also known as Ma Don of Paix Bouche, Babonneau and Family

Francillia Jules and family of Balata

Agnes Jules and Family residing in Cayenne

Philomen Jules and family residing is Martinique

Family of his deceasesd brother Lionel Charles also known as Saltfish of Balata

Family of his deceased sister Jane Charles also known as Sasa of Balata and overseas

Son of his Deceased wife Martina Reuben, Scott Louis also known as General residing at hospital road

Also left to mourn Thirty (30) grandchildren,

Six (6) great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, both here and abroad

Special mention of:

Solomon Charles and his spouse Jezel of Bar Denis who was his caretaker and Beneficiary

Many other Family and friends who are too numerous to mention

The funeral service for the late Reuben Julian also known as Allan Charles will be held on Thursday August 8, 2024 at Rambally’s Chapel Calvary Road, Castries at 10:00am. The body will be laid to rest at the Choc Cemetery,
