We announce the death of John Francis, commonly known as Smile, Fano, Sito or Uncle Smile, a retired employee of Ford Motor Company in London, originally from Desruisseaux; who at the time of his death, resided at Old Victoria Road Morne Fortune Castries. He passed away at his residence on Thursday, 14th March, 2024. He was 91 years old.

The Funeral Service of the late John Francis, commonly known as Smile, Fano, Sito or Uncle Smile will take place at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Castries on Thursday, 18 April, 2024 at 2:00pm. His body will be interred at the Choc Cemetery.
