John was like a father to me . I can remember when I was a little boy I always went by him . He was very close to my family. He loved my sister and I Like we were his children . He would put me to sit on his shoulders and carry me around. He bought me my first bicycle. He cared for both my sister and me for many years. In his younger days he was strong and muscular built and my sister and I used to hold on to his arms and swing like they were branches on a tree.
After some years I moved to Grenada where I now reside . Between then and now everytime I go to St Lucia he would be the first person I would go and see even before some of my family.
I hold very fond memories of him and will cherish them as long as I live . It tears me up inside that I am unable to come and bit him a final goodbye.
My heart felt sympathies to his entire family.
He always quoted, " John Brown Francis Brown a cemetery man refuses no one."
I Love You. Goodbye.
My brother Germain's story is well told. John loved us like his children. He gave me a beautiful doll from the united States when he came back from cutting cane. My story may not be totally accurate but I know the joy he gave me as a cjils growing up. The fruit Chapotee I got in abundance from his yard and he made us welcomed when ever we got to his house.
John filled a void in my heart and my brothers. He and I alone can understand. As Germain said
JOHN BROWN FRANCIS BROWN CEMETARY MAN REFUSE NOONE was a recital he said upon arriving at our house . Sometimes it scared me but excited me the same. I knew he was there with us.
Condolences to the family as we bid farewell.
Love always Natalia
You will always be in my heart
