It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Augustin Classe also known as Car-Gwess of Lewis Street, Vieux Fort. He was a retired baker, retired stevedore at the Vieux Fort Docks and a retired fisherman. He passed away at the St. Jude Hospital on Monday, November 27th, 2023. He was 73 years old.

The funeral service of the late Augustin Classe better known as Car-Gwess of Lewis Street, Vieux Fort will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Vieux Fort on Friday, December 15th, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. His body will be laid to rest at the La Tourney Cemetery.
Please note that the funeral service will be live streamed by the Nineoneone Platform via Youtube
The family would like all persons to kindly wear a touch of ROYAL BLUE for the service
His body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
