It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the death of our beloved Anestasie Valcin affectionately known as Celena or Shoon. She is originally of Laborie but resided in New York and at the time of her passing she resided at her sister’s residence in Pavee Castries. She passed away at the Owen King European Hospital on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at the age of 71 years old.
Left to mourn;

Julietta Joseph also known as Florie of Laborie
Four (4) Brothers:
Leroy Joseph also known as Cherris of Laborie
Ignatius Joseph also known as Realist of Bagatelle, Castries
Eric Joseph also known as Nanny of Laborie but resides in Cedar Heights, Vieux-Fort also her caregiver
Stanley Joseph of Laborie but resides in Columbia

The funeral service of the late Anestasie Valcin affectionately known as Celena or Shoon will held at the Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic in Laborie on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. after which her body will be laid to rest at the Laborie Cemetery.
Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux-Fort.
