We regret to announce the death of our beloved Maurice Poleon better known as Day By of Morne Vent, Blanchard, Desruisseaux who passed away at the St. Jude Hospital on Saturday July 15th, 2023 at about 6:10 a.m. He was 54 years old.

He was the son of the late Joseph Leo Poleon who was also known as My-own of Blanchard.

He was preceded in death by his son:

The funeral service of the late Maurice Poleon better known as Day By of Morne Vent, Blanchard, Desruisseaux will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Desruisseaux on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. after which his body will be laid to rest at the Desruisseaux Cemetery.

His body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
