left in a hurry I am so sad and confused
When the door of heaven opened,
it left my heart bruised
It was so painful to watch you suffer pain inside
So when you cried I cried
When you laughed I laughed too
But when you died I cried
You weren’t there anymore and I was alone
I felt my heart turn to stone
The tears poured down salty and wet
God took you away
And now I am left to say goodbye
Goodbye to you Granny
Goodbye from Makela McDonald

The family of the late Marie Ann Mc Donald would like to thank you for your prayers and visits during her illness, and at the time of her death those who telephoned, sent cards, wreaths, attended the funeral or assisted us, or in any other way sympathized with us during the bereavement.
MARCH 15, 2011
Vie, If you could hear me, I'd remind you of the day we went for a sea bath with Ma-Tah. Knowing I could not swim, you expressed concern for my safety, (you always protected me, Vie); but our fears were unfounded, because Ma-Tah's bathing BIKINI was the biggest parachute ever invented, and with one zip, we all went in there for rescue. Venetus confirmed a similar sentiment when he told me on Saturday evening that nothing would keep him away from your function, as you were like a mother to him.
Please don’t tell Peter I told you, but when I asked him what funeral home you were at, he said..".LA KAI CRICK OR RAMBALLY... Yon ah dan yoe..." I think you should tell him off, poor Peter. Vie, very vivid to me was your thoughtfulness and generosity when we visited: coconuts, tomatoes, fruit, everything from your garden. Sometimes I wondered whether I came to visit you and the family or whether I came for my ration. I HAVE MISSED THIS ALL THOSE YEARS. It's in the blood, because when we visited "TANTY ESTHER", Tony picked fruit from the tree and sent us home with our haversack in good stead. Talk about "Give us this day our daily bread" Tony delivered the choicest every morning during our stay for Cephas's memorial mass, while Liz, Beatrice and Cheryl took over the dinner table. WHAT A FAMILY, THEY DONT COME ANY BETTER.
